Children and God
I (and many others in our church family) will spend this coming week in the presence of children…lots and lots of children. It is so refreshing to be around kids. They give love and soak up love freely. They are excited about life and they are fascinated by the Word of God. Many of these kids have never heard about Jesus’ love for them. It’s heartbreaking and exciting all at once. Once during Jesus’ ministry, some parents brought their children to Him. His disciples tried to turn them away, but Jesus welcomed those children with this thought: “Forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
We will be working alongside our Savior this week in the lives of children. We will be sharing His love with them…and He will be sharing His love with us through them. Please pray for these precious kids all week. “Of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
