A Healthy Church, 9-1-2019
Fourteen years ago, we embarked on a Fall series called “Church Checkup.” It was based on Mark Dever’s wildly popular book, Nine Marks of a Healthy Church. “There is so much to consider when you are evaluating a church,” he begins. “Have you ever really stopped to think about it? What really makes a good church?” What do YOU think? I want to revisit that examination and evaluate where we are as a church this Fall. We’ll use our Sunday evening gatherings beginning October 6th to consider the factors that make up a good church. Are we a good church? In many ways, I think we are. Can we get better? Absolutely! It’s time for another “Church Checkup”.
