Christmas is a special time of the year. Family, giving, festive gatherings, music – all are part of the nearly month-long celebration. In the midst of all that, how can I use this season to serve the Lord? Let me give you a few ideas.
Be sure to share the story of Christmas with your own family. Read it, act it out, listen to it in music. Be sure they hear about the Savior.
Take the opportunity to reach out to your neighbors and friends. You can do that by caroling, in casual conversation, by hosting an event at your home, etc.
Send Christmas cards with a message of hope in Christ.Include a tract in those cards intended for people who don’tknow the Savior.
Invite your friends and family to our Christmas ministries here – and make them a priority yourself. Our desire is to reach out to others as we put on the programs and present the music and drama of Christmas. Make that your goal, too.
Christmas is a great opportunity for ministry. Don’t let that opportunity slip away. Use the holiday to proclaim the Good News!
