“Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like…home.”

Jan and I spent almost 4 weeks on the road – some of it unplanned (and I spent another week away taking a class). Some of you travel for a living and have grown accustomed to that kind of schedule – a different bed every night, different water, a different time zone, different lifestyles, etc. We are not. I sometimes wonder how someone like the Apostle Paul could do what he did in those ancient times. I think it would have been even harder. We missed our home. We missed Colorado. We missed our routine. We missed you. Don’t get me wrong, it was an important trip and we enjoyed aspects of it immensely, but there truly is no place like home. Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for supporting us with your well wishes in the homegoing of Jan’s mom. Thank you for welcoming us back. We’re glad to be…home.
