Early in my ministry years, I received a call from Faith Baptist Bible College asking if I would be willing to interview for a faculty position at the school. Before meeting with them, I phoned my dad and discussed the option with him. His response to my question was this:  “If God leads you to that position, you may be able to influence hundreds of pastors over time who will minister in hundreds of churches.” God did not open that door, but dad’s comment has a bearing on our topic of conversation today with our brother Ken Wells. Ken is not actively involved in planting a church. He is actively involved in planting truth into the hearts and minds of many pastors from many locations where we could never go. He provides training for them that they could not get anywhere else. It’s a ministry of inestimable worth, and only eternity will reveal the impact on those pastors and the people to whom they minister.
